London Poem: Day 352

4 August

I lost time, as though
It were a set of keys,
Tossed carelessly to drop
Between the cushions of
An unseen sofa, never to
Be found again.
Time brought me home however,
Dropping me from door to door
Without sleep, or reason to believe
This is something else.
It’s all over now, living in
Memories, but escaping touch
One more time.
