London Poem: Day 310

23 June

Flutter before the call,
The silly, roaming mind
Jostling slow forming
Shapes that, in the end,
Find no shape at all.
Hesitation fouls the courage
To speak, and to know, as
Thoughts and knowledge are
Largely intertwined.
To be understood is to
Know you’re not alone,
But it’s difficult to be
Understood when you don’t
Know what you’re trying to say.
