London Poem: Day 305

18 June

There is little motion in
Our life; two planets
Orbiting different suns,
Like two colours claiming
To be a shade they are not –
We dream.
There are stars and comets
All colliding with the
Atmosphere, and we are merely
Satellites in the system –
Come and go, it all continues,
And we go on sticking to our
Own moon.
