London Poem: Day 286

30 May

The curve and curl
Sputters in the tired
Half-light, as the careless
Flash fills the light
That is absent.
There is hope to replace
All of the pieces missing,
So the full picture glows,
Without pixel, and our eyes
Behold the life that should
Be, rather than what would be.
But, there it is, peeking out,
Softly with only our minds
To fill space.
