London Poem: Day 278

22 May

What squalls linger
Leave no impact as we
Bashfully carry on in
The sunny charm of today.
Oceans and oceans of wind
And rain move between, yet still
We lay, complacent in the great
Cloudless days, forgotten already
That curling greyness lives,
And is on – coming and we forget
How lovely it is right now,
As it is happening.
