London Poem: Day 234

8 April

Home: it no longer feels
Peculiar to call England that.
It is a full day back,
Full of sun and smile,
Pulled away from responsibility
To know that this is where I belong.
The sun begins its decent, and
I only then rise out of bed,
Open the book and begin my work.
Truly happy as the fading light
Splashes across your face, as I,
Scribble tired little words,
Far too over used,
To tell you these things.
