London Poem: Day 231

5 April

The lights and twirl all
Twinkle in unison –
Great flashes of brilliance
Ask for attention,
Here, there,
But it lives in one place,
Falling in swirling curls,
And big iridescent smiles.
The long, exaggerated explosion
Goes ignored –
Forgotten by a mind set connected.
However, in the end, the lights and
Glamour disappear, and the soft
Loving touch will move, unerring.
