London Poem: Day 230

4 April

Swept into the great void –
Empty land, sparse little villages
Where to life being lived.
Countries and time separated this.
One year, and now another began in transit,
As I dreamed previously those dreams never
Seeming enough. Now, they live,
I taste them, sweet and real,
And it was a year ago
I dreamed of this –
Flung over open fields, lost,
And together.
