London Poem: Day 192

25 February

The bells are heard,
Chiming diligently, leading people
In that heavenly direction, while
The steeple towers overhead.
The sing song of faith,
Tinkling in the fading light –
How does he know it’s me not answering?
Blind faith in the unseen world confounds.
But builds and rushes forward in love.
Who’s to say I’m not religious,
When faith and belief praises
A deity all our own?
