London Poem: Day 171

4 February

Misshapen deeds bend
Life into right angles,
Exploding unseen before
It’s said aloud.
There is comfort in speech
Pointed in the wrong direction,
Allowing the shapes to balance
On thin wires between
Here and there.
Life changes before you know it.
But, such is the nature
Of fear and folly,
To share details and pass
On worry before change
Knows it has changed.
