London Poem: Day 158

22 January

Following the course as decided
Heartbreaks and reassembly
Each takes place on time.
To break the mold,
To cast aside repetition,
Hearts pull towards
Instant pleasure,
The great grin to ease
The large peril ignored.
It becomes easy to forget
The troubling burden
Of love, of life and
Hide behind the curling
Faces that take no shape,
So that for the second
Life is only yours.
