London Poem: Day 127

22 December

The lights come and call,
With us responding as
We see fit,
Thundering like great
Swirling storms colliding,
To explode in the cool
Array of light I remember.
The city, warm and full of life
Twists above and below
With us caught in between,
And what does it tell us,
To be nestled in the moving parts?
This is where we began,
And where it begins again.
The whole world for us,
Living here, and building.
I am a light and so are you,
Everything else dark,
But us two.
