London Poem: Day 65

21 October

Just drink it in.
It’s always just – just.
Just be, and just come alone.
But, where is want, and
Where is need?
It lives in shallow waters
Too close to be seen,
Swelling and still concealed.
I don’t need any of it,
When blushing;
there is a warm body to
Forget what is desired, beyond this.
I’ll trod over everything else,
In the surest of steps,
To ensure my place beside you.
